To add a gift asset

A gift asset is the property donated to fund the gift.

You may enter more than one gift asset for a single gift. The total value of all the gift assets you record should equal the value you enter in the Amount field in the gift's Gift Information screen.

1. Open the Gift Information of the gift for which you want to add asset information. $image\chiclet.gif$ How?

2. Click the Assets/Additions tab.

3. Click $image\add.gif$ in the Assets section of the tab.

4. Enter the asset information. There is help available on each field.

5. Click , and then click .

6. Click at the top of the Gift Information page.
